About Me

I’m Charlotte Kankam— a coach and transformation consultant passionate about helping individuals and organisations grow in confidence, clarity, and leadership.

With over a decade of experience leading transformation, social impact and organisational change in local government and the voluntary sector, I’ve seen first-hand how the right support can unlock confidence, purpose and performance.

As a qualified coach (Optimus Coaching Academy, ICF-aligned), I take a holistic, client-centred approach built on empathy, authenticity, and kindness. My sessions are designed to help you find direction, strengthen self-belief, and take practical steps toward your goals.

Through one-to-one coaching, workshops, and consultancy, I empower you to thrive in early-career and project management roles — helping them move from self-doubt to self-assurance, and from ideas to impact.

When I’m not coaching, I’m leading transformation programmes in local government, supporting change that improves lives and communities. My coaching and consultancy is grounded in that same belief — that when people are supported and empowered, real transformation happens.

  • Coaching is focused on moving forwards and is a collaborative process that will help you to gain clarity, build confidence and take meaningful action towards your goals.

    It’s all about creating space just for you to reflect gain insight and growth. Through powerful questions and a guided conversation coaching will help you to unlock your own potential realise more about yourself and make decisions with confidence and clarity.

  • Coaching is right for you if you’re ready to make a change - this might be in your career, mindset, confidence or you might just be feeling that something needs to shift.

    We will work together in a supportive and reflective environment to explore this. Coaching could be right for you if;

    • You feel stuck or not sure what step to take next

    • You want to feel more confident and leadership

    • Ready to step some meaningful goals

  • Yes, please complete the contact form and I will send you a link to book into a free 20 minute introduction call.

    The goal of this conversation is for you to find out more about coaching and decide if it’s right for you. It will also give you an opportunity to share more about what you would like to get out of coaching. No strings attached this is designed to allow both parties to gauge if coaching together will work - relationship is key to successful coaching.

  • This is up to you - usually sessions last between 45min - 1 hour.

    Generally I recommend at least 3 sessions and often clients benefit from 6.

    Coaching is not designed to be long term and usually meeting every 2/3 weeks is a good rhythm.

  • No, most of the time clients wish to meet online - for coaching this can work extremely well.

    If you would like a consultancy service in person please note outside of London may incur some travel costs considered into pricing. However I always work hard to ensure we can deliver the results you want within your budget envelope.

  • Absolutely, coaching is confidential and a non-judgemental space where you can bring whatever is most important to you. My clients often focus on career goals and work in roles related to project management however I. Always coach holistically and reflect on your as a whole person. My role is to help you reflect, clarify your thinking and move forward in confidence and purpose.

  • Coaching and therapy are both deeply supportive but have significant differences that are important to acknowledge;

    Coaching looks forward, it is all about where you are now and where you want to be next. It is focused on action, goals and personal or professional growth.

    Therapy often looks back, helping you to explore past experiences, emotions or trauma that may be effecting your wellbeing today.

    Coaching can compliment therapy but does not replace it. If something comes up that is better suited to therapy I will always encourage you to seek that additional support.
